Here is a double review of May & June 2020 since I simply forgot to post May’s review!
So, what’s been going on lately?
Still a lot of work behind the scenes, but I’ve noticed in the last few weeks that I’m finding it harder to concentrate. Is it due to external circumstances, like life in lockdown (I avoid going out when possible, for the moment) or something else, I don’t know.
Anyway, I’ve decided it’s better to give yourself time and let Muse also breathe a little, letting her have the opportunity to find again the necessary energy.
I take this opportunity to do other things such as making editing rounds (sorry, can’t talk about them yet!) or reading some documentation about – yeah, you guess it! – another project I’m not willing yet to talk about. One thing is for sure – Never a dull day in an author’s life!
Interviews & Events
Some great initiatives & interviews to take notice of!
* First of all, the YT channel “De quoi ça parle? (What’s it about?)” by my dear friend Nadia Coste, which offers you a lot of great video summaries of books, all delivered by the authors themselves! And yes, you can find all my books there!
* We continue with my first English-speaking interview written by my dear Lucy A. McLaren, a friend and British author! Besides, in her honour, I have decided that from now on both blog posts and newsletters will be bilingual (hence the reason for this post!)
* Another great interview, this time on the involvement of Young Adult literature, drawn up by Pauline Le Gall for Cheek Magazine where I have the honour to appear with other great persons.
* Last but not least, Fantastiqueer book festival has launched its Ulule campaign, entirely dedicated to the financial support of this unprecedented initiative in the French-speaking world – a festival dedicated to queer fantasy literature!
